Tuning on our 4wd rolling road

Our rolling road allows us to test cars that are; front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or indeed 4wd if they use the Haldex system. This is commonly used in VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) vehicles and is used in the transverse engine mounted vehicles such as the Golf R, Audi S3, etc.

Rolling road remap

Our rolling road remap is a service provided by Mapro Tuning that helps to improve the performance of your vehicle.

A rolling road remap involves connecting your vehicle to a dynamometer, or dyno, which measures the power and torque output of your engine. By remapping the engine management system, we can improve the way that your engine performs, resulting in increased power and torque. A dyno remap is an excellent way to improve the performance of your vehicle, and our experienced team can tailor the remap to suit your requirements.

We have a wide range of experience with all makes and models of vehicles, so you can be sure that we will be able to help you get the most out of your dyno remap.

Please note although all vehicles are listed we reserve the right to decline tuning certain models , for example we do not tune the early VAG 1.8T, Subarus or Evos - please contact us to confirm.

A few things to bare in mind when your car is on the dyno (Rolling Road)

First of all there is no insurance, its the same as a track day in theory and your vehicle will be pushed hard often hitting speeds of 150mph+ therefor there are a few things to check before booking a dyno session or tuning on the dyno.

  • Check your tyres for noticeable wear
  • Check for any Fluid leaks
  • ensure your tracking is straight prior to coming in
  • Bring your towing eye with you

We treat your vehicle as if it was one of our own so the above points are there to ensure things go smoothly, at the end of the Remapping Session you will get your print out - we do not sell the physical files to customers.
